A ‘ray of sunshine’ has emerged for Tottenham, whose efforts to offload Eric Dier (29) have stalled. Fulham want to sign Dyer in exchange for Tosin Adarabioyo (25) from Spurs.
“Fulham manager Marco Silva (46-Portugal) wants to sell Adarabioyo to Tottenham to sign Dyer,” Fabrice Hawkins of French outlet RMC Sport reported on social networking services (SNS) on July 21 (KST).
Ange Postecoglou (57, AUS), who took over at Tottenham this summer, has a knife in his back pocket. With less than two weeks left in the transfer window, Postecoglou is still planning to sell a number of players to make a final push.
While some players like Sergio Reguillon (26), Davinson Sanchez (27), and Jape Tanganga (24) are getting closer to leaving the club, it was ‘no news’ when it came to Tanguy Ndombele (26) and Dyer, who are completely out of Postecoglou’s plans. The two players have been in such poor form that they have not been able to gain access to the lower leagues, let alone the big leagues.
With their departures looking increasingly likely, a buyer emerged: fellow London club Fulham. Fulham are looking to fill Adarabioyo’s shoes with Dyer.
However, the key is Adarabioyo’s choice. “Adarabioyo has a contract with AS Monaco,” Hawkins said. Tottenham had previously shown interest in the player, but Adarabioyo rejected Spurs in favor of AS Monaco. Fulham are expected to try and persuade Adarabioyo to sign Dyer.
Tottenham have struggled to get rid of players who have become non-performers. Dyer has been the most troublesome of them all. Luckily for Tottenham, Fulham have shown interest, so hopefully they can make a last-minute move. 안전놀이터
