‘KIA’s fixer’ Choi Hyung-woo hits his first ‘pinch-hit grand slam’ against Park Myung-geun!

KIA Tigers veteran outfielder Choi Hyung-woo came in as a pinch-hitter and hit a grand slam to send the home fans into a frenzy.

Choi pinch-hit in the second game of a doubleheader against the LG Twins in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at Gwangju-KIA Champions Field on September 9.

Choi, who started the first game, did not start the second game to save his health, but came to bat in place of Hwang Dae-in in the bottom of the fifth inning with his team trailing 4-5.

With a 2-1 count, Choi lined a four-pitch fastball from Park Myung-geun over the right field wall for a grand slam. It was his 16th home run of the season. 온라인바카라

According to the KIA organization, this is the eighth time Choi has hit a pinch-hit home run. It is the second time in his career that he has hit a pinch-hit home run, and the first time since his professional debut.

After scoring six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, including Choi’s grand slam, KIA turned the game around and now leads 8-5 in the sixth inning. If the game continues as it is, KIA will take both games of the doubleheader.
